Be ready for October 2025 when Microsoft ends its support for Windows 10.

Many older PCs will not be able to upgrade to Windows 11. There are options however.

You can pay to receive updates for some time to come.

You can buy or upgrade your PC.

You could install and run Linux!

Which? Magazine (September 2018 issue) in one of their Features & Investigations articles discover that using an Independent local company is far better at fixing PC and laptop problems than the chains such as PC World. Not only better but they say there is a “stark difference in the levels of service”.

I have to say even we were surprised by the difference both in the cost, the results and the speed with which computer issues were dealt. The results in a table form are below which is a photocopy of part of the whole article.
